Historic District and the National Register of Historic Places
The downtown area of Bardstown is a historic district and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are 200 buildings on the NHR in historic downtown. Stop by the Welcome Center to pick up a map and check them out during a walking tour of the area. We are sure you will find a lot of other fun and interesting places along the way including amazing restaurants and wonderful shopping.

10 distilleries within 16 miles
There are 10 distilleries within 16 miles of downtown Bardstown. These unique distilleries include: Bardstown Bourbon Co, Barton 1792 Distillery, Heaven Hill Distillery, Jim Beam, Lux Row Distillers, Log Still Distillery, Four Roses Bourbon, Preservation Distillery, Maker’s Mark and Willett.
