Bourbon 30 and Lexmark team up to benefit Honor Flight Kentucky

Tucked away in Georgetown is a unique craft bourbon distillery, Bourbon 30. It’s here that Master Crafter Jeff Mattingly crafts each barrel and delivers an experience to the general public of being able to craft their own individual bottle of bourbon.

Couple this local distillery with the technological advancements of Lexmark and you have a project and history in the making benefitting Honor Flight Kentucky.

Honor Flight Kentucky is on a mission to fly World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. for a one-day all-expenses-paid trip to visit the memorials that are dedicated to their service and sacrifices.

A group of employees within Lexmark approached Lexmark Ventures about their latest technology, the CryptoAnchor and suggested a partnership with Bourbon 30 to do a Veterans Day Release in 2020 to benefit Honor Flight. Jeff and the crew at Bourbon 30 held no reservation and were fully on board with the project.

Having worked on projects together in the past and donating to Honor Flight, the two groups were set to embark on a historical release this coming Veterans Day – Honor Flight Kentucky 2020 – 11.11.11. With the sale of this limited edition, $75 from each bottle sold will be donated – amounting to over $15,000.

This limited edition bottle has been authenticated by Lexmark Ventures using CryptoAnchor, a multi-dimensional security system contained in the shield on the bottle cap. You can use your phone to scan the and verify the authenticity and bottle number of the 11.11.11 release. This new technology is making its debut on this product. An amazing partnership by two local Lexington companies to benefit a Kentucky organization.

This limited edition bottle named “11.11.11” for the 11th hour of the the 11th day of the 11th month for Armistace Day.
