Reminiscent of the 1920’s speakeasy with it’s low lighting, dark wood, leather sofas and array of cocktails, bourbon and beer – this is a must-visit for locals as well as those visiting from out of town. The distillery district location is situation in a large open space in a warehouse setting. While there is an industrial feel and the space is large, the ambiance makes it feel cozy and intimate.
If you get the chance, check out the silo or have a meal inside – don’t forget to look up and check out the lights. Upstairs hosts the WiseGuy Lounge complete with pool table. When the weather is nice, enjoy the outdoor seating over a shaded stream complete with fire pits and a bocce ball court.
Enough about the building and ambiance, this is a restaurant with bar after all. Best pizza in town that we have found so far. The slices are huge (we can barely finish one when combined with the arm’s lenght breadstick) with the NY Style foldable crust.
Constantly being made out in the open, take the time to watch a pizza or two being made with dough being thrown high & wide. If you have kids with you, you may just want to sit at the counter where all the action takes place.
This is a pizza joint, so the primary menu item is, well, pizza. You can craft your own or choose from a specialty pie. They also offer oven-baked subs, sides, salads and desserts. Pies range in size from 12″ up to their super mighty 22″ that can feed 6 -8.
My family prefers the lunch special which is a giant slice of za, salad or a breadstick (which is as long as your arm) and a drink for only $6. On Mondays, you can get a 12″ for 1/2 price.
Make sure to sign up for their loyalty program to receive a star for each transaction over $6. You’ll receive a $5 off coupon after 5 stars.
While they don’t deliver, you can order for take out.
