Coming in 2020, we will begin our Humans of Lexington series featuring amazing individuals from right here in the Bluegrass. Our focus is on tourism – where you eat, stay and play.
There are lots of amazing and inspiring people here in the Bluegrass and each have a story to tell, inspirations to share and creative ideas and colorful anecdotes.
Every Monday in 2020, I’ll introduce you to one of these amazing people and share with you what I learned while just sitting down with them for a chat. Later in the week, there will be additional posts from those interviews. We’ve kept the posts short so they are engaging and fun!
Inspired by the “Humans of New York,” I’ve set out to meet people in the tourism industry of Lexington. Along the way we may stray to a chef in a local restaurant, a local entrepreneur or a high school athlete that just “wows” and “amazes” us. You never know who you’ll meet, but everyone has a story. We want you to meet the “Humans of Lexington” with us.
I’ll be starting off with Michael Blowen, Founder of Old Friends Farm in Georgetown.
