Jockey Autograph Signing | Keeneland | April 2 – CANCELLED

Racing fans can meet jockeys currently participating at Keeneland as well as retired jockeys – from Hall of Famers to history makers and Keeneland favorites – and participate in an autograph signing to benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

Keeneland Spring Meet | Lexington April 2 – 26 – CANCELLED

Keeneland’s 16-day Spring Meet begins Thursday, April 2, and concludes Friday, April 24. First post on opening day is 3 p.m. The eight-race card includes the second running of the $100,000 Palisades Turf Sprint for 3-year-olds at 5½ furlongs on the turf. First post for the remainder of the season is 1:05 p.m.

2020 Woodford Reserve Derby Bottle Signing Event | Woodford Reserve | April 3

Enjoy an evening event at Woodford Reserve Distillery featuring the opportunity to have Derby Bottles signed by Master Distiller Chris Morris and Artist Richard Sullivan. Includes 3 appetizers, two cocktail tickets (your choice of the Woodford Reserve Spire or Woodford Reserve Mint Julep) and a souvenir copper cup. Derby Bottle 146 will be available for purchase during the event, with a limit of four per person. A photo booth will also be set up to commemorate your visit! Tickets can be purchased on the woodford reserve website for $35.

Park Day | Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, Danville April 4

On April 4, 2020 at the Perryville Battlefield, the American Battlefield Trust will have a sponsored Park Day, which is an annual hands-on preservation event to help battlefields take on maintenance projects. The Perryville Battlefield in conjunction with the Friends of the Perryville Battlefield will be hosting this event. Come out and help us clean the most pristine battlefield in the nation.

Old Friends Welcome Day for Stormy Liberal & Patch | Old Friends Farm Georgetown | April 6

Old Friends, the Thoroughbred Retirement facility based in Georgetown, KY, will host a special “Welcome Day” for new retirees Stormy Liberal and Patch on Monday April 6, 2020 from 12 noon to 2:30 pm.
