Fourth of July Cookie Decorating Class |Wildside Winery | July 2

Grab your gal pal for an evening of 4th of July cookie decorating! You will learn the following in this class: piping and flooding cookies, wet on wet techniques and stenciling to create beautiful designs easily. No experience needed. You will go home with an adorable set to enjoy on the 4th with family and friends Each ticket includes 1 glass of wine, beer or soda. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time and Lauren reserves the right to cancel for less than 8 participants. The winery is large and has lots of room for social distancing while decorating. Each participant will have your own supplies and a very easy to follow design guide. I am excited to share my tips and tricks with you to make decorating easy and fun.

Virtual USPC Festival 2020, Presented by SSG Riding Gloves | KY Horse Park |July 13 – 20

The week-long Pony Club Festival is held every three years at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. More than 3,000 Pony Club members, volunteers, and families participate in this special event. The National Championships are held the first three days. Two more days follow with mounted and unmounted clinics and workshops taught by Pony Club graduates, Olympians, and equine industry professionals. Throughout the week, participants, family, and visitors can shop at the Festival Trade Fair, participate in and watch the Mock Fox Hunt, and enjoy all aspects of Pony Club activities!

Tara Remington (Remi) is an American multidisciplinary artist living in Louisville KY, whose processes include public art, installation, printmaking, drawing, photography and sculpture. Her work has a focus on mindful social justice around reflecting on equality and fairness for all humanity and the conservation and preservation of our shared earth. Remi produces interactive art to engage the viewer on multiple sensory levels.
While in residence at JSP this summer, Remi will create an innovative seat/larger-than-life-sized hand sculpture out of natural building materials using the cob building method. Remi will engage the community through on-site workshops and interactive artmaking to build the sculpture as a community effort – so stay tuned for how you can get involved!
